Factory refurbished laptop,
the real truth

What is a factory refurbished laptop? When a laptop computer is returned it's generally shipped to the manufacturing company’s factory.

It is then inspected for technical defects, physical damages or even scratches. After a thorough inspection, it is repaired or restored to the original specifications.

It then undergoes a technical proficiency test, and if it's found to have passed the test, it is marked as a "refurbished" laptop. Legally, it cannot be marked and sold as a new laptop.

These types of laptops are arguably better than a brand new laptop because it has been thoroughly examined and has a lower return rate.

There are a variety of laptops available on the market but getting a great factory refurbished laptop requires a bit of research so that, in the end, you choose a great one that really suits your needs.

These types of notebooks are much cheaper then brand new ones and it's why they are becoming so popular.

We always recommend that you only purchase these types of notebooks from the factory.

Third party versions can have many faults. These faults include no AC adapter, no battery, no operating system, no warranty, etc.

To find the best laptop for you we recommend you read our excellent reviews and buying guides found in the left hand navigation bar.

Since a refurbished version is as good as, if not better than, its counterpart those reviews are just a valid.
