Looking for the ultimate in laptops is never an easy task, there are so many choices, so many options and yet so little time.

Deciding exactly what you want is not the simplest task but there are plenty of options that you have that will allow you to select the perfect laptop for your needs. Obviously, users who are looking for a laptop certainly do not want a toy version.

Your choice to use a portable machine means that you have a right to have a computer that can actually handle your needs, rather than merely sit on the desk and look cutsie.

The Macbook Pro laptops are an excellent option for those who are looking for some impressible power while still staying with a stylish and sleek machine.

The great news for Apple computer fans is there are several versions to choose from. The biggest option that you are first presented with is deciding between the 15.4-inch display or the 17-inch display.

Once you have narrowed down your choice of display size you can start looking at the individual features of the two models and really get settled into something that will take care of your needs quickly.

For those who are looking at the 15.4-inch model you have your choice of three different CPU chips. The first is the 2.2 GHz, then a 2.4 GHz and finally a 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

Your also looking at a computer that is 5.4 pounds in weight which is still a rather hefty size but considerably reasonable considering all of the features that are packed into Macbook Pro laptops.

Additional considerations are the 8x double layer Super Drive with two USB plugs. Keeping plenty of hard drive space is not a problem either since you can get up to 250 Gigs of hard drive space.

Your other option is the 17-inch model, this comes with one less options in terms of CPU, you are losing out on the 2.2 GHz chip in return for picking up the larger screen size.

As a small hassle some users may be upset, but looking at the faster speed and the much nicer monitor combined together is usually enough to quickly dispel any disappointment you may have had.

You can also look forward to a bit heavier sized model since you are adding a bit more to the screen, with a weight of 6.8 pounds it is a big heftier than the 15.4 inch model but well worth the additional weight.

Just as the 15.4-inch model can provide up to 250 Gigs in hard drive space you have the same options with the 17-inch model as well.

Overall, there are very few differences between the models, yet the ability to incorporate the 802.11n and a NVIDIA GeForece 8600 GT graphics card means you are looking at a very nice computer wrapped up into one sleek and shiny package.

Certainly a great looking piece, Macbook Pro laptops perform just as well as it looks.
