The Refurbished Gaming Laptop Unleashed

What is a refurbished gaming laptop? When a faulty laptop is returned to the dealer, it is then shipped to the manufacturer for repair.

The damage can be anything from a faulty part to cosmetic damage. After it is inspected for technical faults, it is either repaired or restored back to the original hardware specifications.

It is then tested for technical efficiency and once it is found to be in working order, it’s repacked as a "refurbished" laptop.

These laptops are often viewed as superior to new laptops because it undergoes more checks than a brand new model and has a lower return rate.

What to look for in a Refurbished Gaming Laptop?

Today, games are graphic based that need powerful and fast processing speed. RAM memory is also needed for faster processing.

It needs to be more powerful, quick and has at least 1 GB of RAM, 2 GB recommended, because the more RAM your laptop has, the better the overall performance.

Normal laptops tend to have average video cards so you want to find a laptop with a high end card with at least 500 MG of ram built in or buy one that allows you to upgrade.

Your laptop must also have a sound card, either internal or external. Choose a high quality headset because you’ll find yourself playing in public places.

Drive space is also important but the above is where you focus should be.

When looking at laptop drives you’ll want a hard drive with, 7200 RPM is a good baseline, because the faster the drive the better gaming experience.

The bigger the laptop screen the better, however keep in mind that you have to carry the laptop around with you.

You may want to go with a smaller display if weight is an issue or you’d rather spend your money on horsepower.

The last thing to note is to look for a gaming laptop that is upgradeable so, in the future, if you keep up with the technology.
