Toshiba Qosmio laptop computers,
everything you need to know.

This site features a detailed buying guide for Toshiba Qosmio laptop computers. Discover everything you need to know about their laptops.

The world is full of entertainment and finding a laptop that can stand up to the demands that you set into place is not always easy.

Finding a comparable desktop replacement laptop is even harder at times due to the small size, yet Toshiba has made a valiant effort with their Toshiba Qosmio laptop lineup.

Bringing a large bright display together with numerous other brilliant features leaves you with a high-end laptop capable of handling almost anything you need it for.

Overall for those who are looking for a good solid unit this makes a perfect usage, as long as you plan on using it primarily in a single location you are looking at a much better usage than trying to carry it around.

While the ideas of laptops is to be highly portable, the extreme weight keeps the Qosmio a bit grounded.

Pros

The screen is a very nice sized, 17-inch with a decent 1440 x 900 resolution available. This gives you plenty of room to put the DVD drive, or even the included TV tuner to good usage.

A nice slot loading, double layer DVD burner is included as well. This is most certainly a step up from the optical drive that most laptops are bringing to the table.

Good news is possible though, most previous models ran in the $3,000 range, now they have dropped to as little as $2,300, which is still pricy for many people but quite affordable for a desktop replacement, model.

Cons

Unlike previous models, the newest Toshiba Qosmio laptop computers are not designed well for gamers.

The touchpad as well as mouse buttons are a bit small for good usage, and the graphics card delivers lacking performance.

The biggest kick for this laptop is the enormous 9.9-pound size.

This is a gigantic monster by any standard and because of the size is not a good unit for traveling with as it gets extremely heavy quite quickly.
